Staying Put in our Cozy House

Well after 6 months of our house on the market and NO offers we are not going to sell it. It was an experiment anyways. We were hoping with the first time homebuyers tax incentives, that somebody would snatch up our house. We wanted to get into something a little bigger and maybe in a better school district.

Now to make our house seem bigger & function better for us and my child care business.

Now we are getting geared up to refinance, redo our siding, replace windows, insulate rebuild the front porch & refinish the back deck. All this year???? We are up for a busy year!

We decided to homeschool Eli and we are having fun! We joined First Class Homeschool Coop and it is so much fun for us all! I enjoy the parent interaction and Eli & Bo get to iteract with new friends. I am even teaching a Scrapbooking to Yearbook class! What a stretch for me, but I love to scrapbook!

I'm Joining the Blogging World!

Here are my precious little boys! They are such a blessing in my life. It took us over 11 years to get a sweet little life to treasure. When God blessed us with Elijah in March 2005 we were so excited. To read more of our story go to my website.

So more about the boys . . .

Boaz is turning one the end of the month and he is such a BOY! He climbs the furniture and tries to reach all he can, just like his big brother. He loves to be outside and will often carry his shoes around the house in a not to subtle hint to let him go outside. He almost runs to the door when we open it.

Elijah is such a sweet boy. He loves to interact with people and rarely stops moving! He just recently learned to pedal his tricycle and hop on one foot, such a athletic boy. He loves playing ball (especially in the house) and has been kicking balls since he was 2.

Brent is taking a Sabbatical from being the Worship Pastor at New Life Christian Center in Milwaukie, Oregon. We love our friends at this little fellowship.

I get to stay home and raise our boys. I love it, though sometimes I forget what a privilege it is. I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing, cooking and reading in my spare time. I don't get much of that - but I manage to carve some time out during nap time and on some Fridays to scrapbook with some friends from church as the kids play with toys. Such a blessing!
